You can enjoy river swimming, hiking, bicycling,
riding your horses, and fishing onsite.
Hunting in the 19,500 acres of Appomattox-Buckingham State Forest and great fishing and swimming can be found at
Holiday Lake State Park right down the road. The rich civil war history
of Appomattox, nearby wineries and
other area attractions are just minutes away. Winter sports such as ice skating and snowboarding, skiing, and tubing
are just 30 minutes away and can be enjoyed YEAR-ROUND at the SNOWFLEX facility, the only year-round facility in
the US.

Bring your inner tubes and bathing suits and float down our shallow lazy river
around the bend and ending at our swimming hole.

Bring your snow skis or snow
board and enjoy YEAR ROUND fun at Snow Flex the only year-round slopes with skiing, snowboarding,
tubing, and freestyle jumps and snowboard runs in the US just 30 minutes from The Cheyenne.

Bring your horses and ride our wide sandy /
woodland trails or ride in the State Forest right down the road where there are miles and miles of interlocking trails.
Bring your hiking boots and mountain bikes and enjoy our trails and
mini-bmx bicycle track or one of the many trail systems within 30 minutes of The Cheyenne.
Bring your fishing and hunting gear and enjoy the 19,500 acres of the Appomattox-Buckingham State Forest and Holliday Lake right down the road or
fish for sport onsite in our river.
Bring your kayaks and canoes, or speed boats and jet skis - we are close to
the James River, Smith
Mountain Lake, and Holliday Lake.
Bring your golf cart or farm utility vehicle for quick access and movement around
the property and to the river. Sorry - no ATVs or off road motorcycles.
